Takes a bit of getting used to, and I don't see how the flint can be replaced if it runs out, I hope they have a seperate solution for that. Over all its very reliable but it uses more fuel and wick than other lighters. Still a great addition to my collection.
Store owner replied:
Hi Bas, thanks for your review. We’re glad to hear your Cobra Match has been a reliable addition to your collection! We totally understand that a match styled lighter can take a little getting used to, and we appreciate your feedback regarding fuel and wick consumption. Unfortunately, the flint rod in the Cobra Match can’t be replaced, but there’s plenty of flint built into the rod to provide plenty of use before it runs out. Thanks again for your feedback, and we hope you continue enjoying your lighter! Feel free to reach out if you ever need anything, and we look forward to serving you again in the future!
decent, but as i was trying to set it up most of the wick seemed to get pulled off, is it replaceable?
Store owner replied:
Hi Jacob, thanks for your review. We're glad to hear you like your Cobra Match, but we're sorry to hear about the issue with the wick. The wick shouldn’t get pulled off when setting up the lighter. With the Cobra Match, the only thing you’ll need to do is fill it with lighter fluid. Fortunately, the wick is replaceable. You can replace it by pulling out the striker part on the end of the matchstick, placing a new wick around the striker, and putting the striker back into the matchstick. If you ever need guidance on replacing the wick, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help!

Just wouldnt light at all, the sparks only seemed to completely burn out the material instead of set a flame on it
Store owner replied:
Hi أبو, thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is likely due to the lighter not being filled with enough fuel. The wick is not meant to burn, but rather hold the fuel so the fuel can ignite. Fortunately, you can easily pull out more wick from the lighter, and we've sent you instructions over email! Please keep in mind, if you ever run into issues, we're always more than happy to help!

I really like it but unfortunately the flint fell out into the body of the lighter and I couldn’t get it out. I bought the premium flints but I can’t get it to properly fit or work with this match lighter either.
Store owner replied:

I got it it looks awesome but it lit up a few time and it won't light again no matter how much fluid I put in it
Store owner replied:
Hi John, thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize that your Cobra Match is having troubles igniting, no matter how much fuel is used. Based on your description, it sounds like the wick has burnt. We've reached out to you over email to help you out!
Good, but the head makes it a pain in the butt to unscrew and the striker on the match isn’t even so lighting takes a few times cause the striker isn’t flush.
Store owner replied:
Hi Eric, thanks for honest review. We apologize that the shape of the head makes it a pain to unscrew, and that your Cobra Match is having some troubles igniting. We've reached out to you over email to help you out! If for any reason the lighter wasn't what you were expecting, we'll be more than happy to set you up with a free return or exchange for a different lighter.
A 99pence lighter is more practical, versatile, robust and cooler looking.
Store owner replied:
Hi Ameen, thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we're sorry to hear that the Cobra Match didn't meet your expectations. We always do our best to provide exceptional products and services, so we appreciate your feedback. We completely understand where you're coming from regarding the practicality of the Cobra Match. While match lighters offer a unique way of igniting, they can be less practical to use. If you're looking for a more practical lighter to use as a daily carry, we'd recommend any of our butane lighters. Most of these lighters can be easily ignited using one hand, and will hold the butane in a sealed fuel tank until it's used. Please let me know if you'd like to return your Cobra Match for a full refund, or if you'd prefer to exchange it for a different lighter! If you'd like to exchange your lighter, we'll be more than happy to provide some personalized recommendations. Please follow up with us over email at your earliest convenience.

As soon as I opened the box I could see what a wonderfully well crafted lighter this is, after filling up the whole thing has worked seamlessly - 10 out of 10 for me

Thank you for such a great review, we're so glad to hear your love your Cobra Match!
I had reasonable expectations for this lighter, knowing that it would be a largely gimmicky purchase, and even then it only lasted me a few days of proper use. The wick around the flint has completely disappeared making it near impossible to light and even worse than that, the actual wrap around the lighter with the metallic design is falling off from where it was badly glued overall making the lighter feel like it was cheaply made which to be fair I wasn’t expecting something that would last a lifetime but still disappointed ☹️
Store owner replied:
Thank you for the honest feedback, and we apologize if you had a bad experience with your Cobra Match. The wick is supposed to hold the lighter fluid to burn, not actually burn itself. If the wick happened to burn, this is likely because there was not enough lighter fluid in the wick/lighter. Fortunately, the wick can be replaced. Regarding the metallic design on the side peeling off, we're so sorry to hear that, and we'd be more than happy to issue a full refund, or send you a free replacement. We've reached out to you over email.
I use the Match as an accessory but it wont catch a flame when I try to ignorieren it (I also put lighter liquid inside but maybe it wasn‘t enough). If there is a Trick I miss please Tell ne via e-mail (davideisvogel24@gmail.com).
Store owner replied:
If your Cobra Match is having troubles igniting even after being filled, it likely needs to be struck harder against the flint to produce sparks, or it may need more fuel. We've reached out to you over email to help you out!
The lighter is great, but the first time I used it I burned the wick by accident because I didn't have enough fuel on it. It was a pain to replace the wick, but it's working fine now.
