I got this as a present for my dad for christmas, he loves it, I've heard no complaints yet, and he said the fluid he put in it lasted about 2-3 ish days, but there is one thing he is worried about though, the light on it is a mechanical light so there isnt a battery or anything on it so he is worried the mechanism which is turning it on could break

Flame spread is comparable to that of an old boy. Like the see threw fuel canister.

I took a video to give anyone a good look at what they might be buying and I’m also hoping techspade themselves see this I want to say I was very excited for my lighters to come I had ordered two of them this one being the first unbox upon glance the box seemed to have some damage nothing to complain about I was hoping it wouldn’t affect the lighter in any way but it seems that it has because the flame won’t stay lit. You can hear clicking after the flame goes out like it’s trying to reignite but I am not sure. I also requested a soft flame once again nothing to much to complain about but that is what I was expecting it to be and it’s kind of a let down because I was really excited for these to come I was even looking to buy your most expensive lighters like Sanjis or the 007 but if this is the outcome on my first purchase I’m not so sure. I also had payed 6 extra dollars on shipping during purchase and they had showed up in a shipping bag instead of a box which caused the lighter boxes to have damage. Still after all of this I am hoping to get sent some type of replacement or solution to this problem I still would 100% recommend the lighter just because I had a bad first experience doesn’t mean you will.

Regarding the torch not staying lit, this is because the torch is adjusted way too high causing too much butane to be released. Please turn down the flame size and the issue should be fixed.
We're sorry that you received the Torch instead of the Soft Flame variant. The lighters look identical, and this one may have been mixed up with the Soft Flame lighters. We would be happy to send you the Soft Flame variant free of charge, and have sent you an email to set up your free replacement!
