Literally be the most functional and unique lighter every night have. I've went through so many different lighters I can never find one that I liked. This one has so much functionality and it holds fluid for so long I highly recommend the 6700, especially if you're a pipe smoker.

This is definitely the lighter of all lighters. It is hard to say how good something is, when it is just that good. You press it open? It lights. No faffing about with trying to get it to light, it just does. And stays out. Nothing to hold down to keep it burning like butane lighters, this is a kerosene beauty that stays lit until it's dry. I wasn't sure about the bronze, but being someone of Caucasian ethnicity, it hides well in my hand. Also, since it is a brushed bronze, it isn't shiny and obnoxious. And it won't show wear and tear over time. If someone wants a "lifetime lighter", this is it.

Needed this as my Indiana Jones lighter, I love it. I keep burning my fingers because it heats up seriously fast but that's nobody's fault. It's an awesome lighter.

Because it has a windproof chamber, the metal around the flame can heat up relatively quickly, so we definitely advise keeping your fingers away from that area once the flame is ignited. It works well for the most part, doesn’t always light flawlessly… but I pulled up the wick a bit more and I at least do get a bigger flame. Might just need a bit more use. However I love the duel use I get with it as a match and regular lighter. Shipping took a week so no complaints there

Chinese Replica. Pretty poor quality compared to the original Austrian builds. Leaks and fails to ignite often. No mention of manufacturer on product page, so you just have to gamble on the rather high pricetag.

We only sell brand-new lighters and do not carry any vintage or Austrian-made IMCOs. However, you bring up a valid point regarding the lack of manufacturer details, and we have since updated the product description. Regarding your lighter leaking, if its leaking from the top it may be due to the lighter being overfilled. If it’s leaking from the bottom due to a faulty seal, please let us know and we'll be happy to send you a free replacement or issue a full refund. We've reached out to you over email!

Absolutely love the product, but my gosh the shipping took forever. Maybe it says somewhere on the website and I didn’t see it, but this is a Chinese reproduction, not the real deal. It’s perfect for what I wanted though. But the weeks-long shipping from China sucked.

Purchased for my nephew for Christmas and he is very happy with the lighter.
I buy a second-a lighter is just a bomb,. This is the embodiment of the genius of folk art born in the harsh years of the First World War. Maybe someone will say that gas is more practical, but let him see how it "will not let you down" at minus 35 or more. I don't smoke myself, but I constantly carry with me in a jacket. You can warm up your hands, set it up like a candle (the cartridge lighter is removed), Flint and firecracker changes easily. And packed just cool, beautiful and tasteful.
I have a couple vintage lighters now and this one is probably the most practical. It's small, windproof, and holds lighter fluid for a really long time. Highly recommended and will probably buy more IMCO lighters in the future.
